While I love a decadent dessert, often times I just want a little bite of something. Just enough of a sweet treat to make me happy but not too much to push me over the edge into being super full. And this time of the year between running around, traffic, events, planning menus, cooking and then hosting we don’t have alot of extra time!
So simple little recipes like this are my secret arsenal. They look adorable, taste delicious and take no time at all to put together. They’re also pretty fun to do with littles, so get your kids involved and they’ll be so proud to present their dessert!
I had some extra Hershey Kisses from halloween so that’s what I used but an allergy friendly option would be to order Smooches from No Whey. These adorable little candies are not only dairy free but free from the Top-9 food allergens and they taste dang good! You’ll need to find some teeny tiny cookies and I found the perfect size was the Soft Baked Mini Cookie from Made Good, the snickerdoodle was the perfect fall flavor with that hint of cinnamon! Then the last thing you need is just the tiniest bit of melted chocolate to “glue” the Kiss or Smooch to the cookie. Pop in the fridge for a 20 minutes to set and you’re ready to go!
Fill a cute bowl with these little guys and add to your Thanksgiving table for that little sweet treat that everyone can enjoy.
