Turmeric Juice

Turmeric Juice

After my house has been cleared from the plague, we are now onto spring allergies. Oh, how lovely! But both Mr. Giggles and I don’t like to use allergy medicine as it makes us both feel just terrible….so, of course, I simply turn to super clean and healthy foods to at least amp up our immune systems in the hopes that that will help at least a little in the war against allergies and any other illnesses!

This juice is an inspiration from something I saw on my Pinterest feed. And since I have been trying to add anything into my diet turmeric related, I knew this was just the juice to get me going in the morning! Turmeric, yellow beets, celery, apples, parsley, lime juice, orange juice, lemon juice and ginger. A vibrant orange color with an equally vibrant flavor, it is sure to put a little extra perk in your step. Not to mention all the amazing benefits of turmeric (Dr. Weil has actually said there are almost too many benefits to list!)-just a few that Dr. Weil lists: (1.) Alzheimer prevention (2.) Anti-Inflammatory properties, especially with arthritic patients (3.) Cancer prevention. And if those three things won’t convince you to add more turmeric to your diet, I’m honestly not sure at all what could!

Now head off and make a big batch of this happy juice, it’s sure to put a smile on your face and in your belly 馃檪
